The United States is the largest buyer of goods and services in the world. Billions upon billions are spent each year to keep things running. Some of the money is set aside for certain small businesses. It's an effort to try and level the playing field that allows the small guy to get a piece of the action.
Some small businesses that can capitalize on these set aside monies include minority-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses (especially disabled Vets), HUB Zone businesses in a certain geographic areas, plus others.

Stay tuned. In the meantime - Vets! You can get a good discount on training. Go here to learn more: http://www.atexfreightbrokertraining.com/imavetdiscountfbt.shtml
