John is the founder and sole owner of Atex Freight Broker Training, Inc., and a certified public accountant by profession. He has over 25 years experience working with small business start-ups in the Midwest. Currently, John is living and working in the southwest and is training individuals to become either self-employed freight brokers or broker agents. Brother Jim will be helping as always with the marketing and product development.

John’s training clientele include trucking firms, truck drivers and other individuals who have been working in the transportation industry as well as business opportunity seekers.

John spent nearly four months researching the freight broker industry prior to starting his freight brokerage. He met face-to-face with nearly 20 freight brokers as well as some shippers and truck drivers. The information gathered formed the basis of his written business plan a facsimile of which John provides as a sample in one of his training programs.

Research and passing on information are two efforts that set John apart from his peers.
