It is sort of funny - when I started training, ALL of my competitors were doing live training in their facility. I was the only one doing training via telephone and the Internet with unlimited support after formal training.
Some competitors were telling their callers that "you cannot learn this over the telephone and Internet". Well, guess what? Nearly all of those who said it can't be done are doing some form of online or distance training. Guess what again? You CAN learn how to broker freight via telephone and the Internet.
Remember this - your entire freight broker business will most likely be based upon the telephone and Internet. If you can run a multi-million $$$ business via the telephone and Internet, you can surely take your training the same way.
