There are some monumental changes taking place right now inside the House and Senate. Never again will it be "business as usual". In the past, politicians were very adept at making "deals". Deals that included swaping an earmark here for a vote there. And so on. It is over.
The new breed of politicians don't want deals, they want "solutions". This is so refreshing.
But a lot of tension has developed and will continue to surface as a new form of "doing business" replaces the old. In the end, however, you will see more and more main stream Americans learning about important issues and getting more involved.
The pain and struggle that will ensue in the next several years will be well worth it in the long run. The end result will be a dream come true for many and, unfortunately, a nightmare for others.
