You are probably confused about how all this bailout stuff is going to affect you. You may have even felt some of the effects already. I can't tell you much about how all this is going to play out. But here are several opinions on the current affairs as they relate to freight brokering.
First, if you are living paycheck to paycheck with no other source of income and hoping to jump into something else - (again, this is my opinion only) - don't make any big changes. This includes freight broker training. Do NOT get into freight brokering if you are living paycheck to paycheck.
Wait things out. Save what money you can. Get control of your credit card debt if that is a monkey on your back. Just play it safe and try to find something about your current job that you really enjoy. Be different from the other whiners.
Second, if you are NOT living paycheck to paycheck and if you DO have another source of income and if you DO know that freight brokering is for you, then RUN don't walk to our freight broker training. Those who get in now may be richly rewarded in future years because they took action when everyone else was talking doom.
And if you are somewhere in the middle, then just play it safe for awhile. Use this time of uncertainty to study and gather some information. Then look for opportunity. Sometimes opportunity will come knocking on your door. Other times you have to be alert and aware that you need to act.
So, for what it's worth, read the paragraphs above again and whatever you do, do NOT give in to a lot of negative junk.
