Now, the last item that deals with financial analysis - yes, I can crunch some numbers on that and I have already made several blog posts on that topic.
But as far as starting a trucking operation - we don't touch that. Even though freight brokers work directly with trucking companies, the two are worlds apart in some respects.
Maybe some day in the future we will provide services strictly for trucking firms. But it would start with offering some type of financial services and then gradually getting into other areas. After all, I am a CPA by profession and my adult life has literally been crunching numbers, doing reports, doing analysis and everything else that goes along with this.
As I have said in the past, if there were no other numbers in the world than numbers in telephone books, I could and would spend much of my time crunching the telephone numbers, categorizing them, sorting them, connecting them - and anything else I could come up with.
So, trucking and freight brokering do go hand-in-hand, but the two have their different set of requirements.
